Clearances are NOT needed to join the PTA. 

 

When are clearances required?
 

WHen a PTA Member is interestEd in serving as Classroom Parent (CP). 

 

when a PTA member desires to have the opportunity to chaperone field trips, attend class parties, and support efforts during regular school hours. 

 

 

• CHECKLIST:

• PA Child Abuse Clearance Child Abuse Clearance

• PA State Police clearance Act 34- PA State Police Criminal Record Check

• FBI Clearance Forms  (For newer PA residents, less than 10 years) 

• FBI Clearance Waiver (For PA resident of 10 years or more, complete this waiver)

• Volunteer Application form & Act 24-Arrest/Conviction Report & Certification

  • Volunteer Application and Forms.pdf 

  • Please remit completed volunteer application & clearances to volunteer@ahsd.org

•  Return HARD copies to SAE, in a sealed envelope labeled CLEARANCES
